In my neighbourhood, residents are placing Teddy Bears in windows so that when people are out for a walk they can “hunt” for teddy bears.  I think this is a fantastic way to appreciate the neighbourhood, spot a house that maybe you just always passed by and didn’t pay any attention to, wave to a neighbour you haven’t met yet…the possibilities are endless really.  With social distancing and self-isolation at top of mind for many, I find these “bear hunts” to be therapeutic and keep us engaged with our neighbours despite all that’s going on. How many bears have you spotted on your neighbourhood walk?

Do you have any suggestions for a future “hunt”?  Easter is fast approaching any maybe some of you have ideas for an egg hunt or a bunny hunt!

Stay safe and be well
