Teddy Bear Hunting
In my neighbourhood, residents are placing Teddy Bears in windows so that when people are out for a walk they can “hunt” for teddy bears. I think this is a fantastic way to appreciate the neighbourhood, spot a house that maybe you just always passed by and didn’t pay any attention to, wave to a neighbour you haven’t met yet…the possibilities are endless really. With social distancing and self-isolation at top of the mind for many, I find these “bear hunts” to be therapeutic and keep us engaged with our neighbours despite all that’s going on. How many bears have you spotted on your neighbourhood walk?
